Saturday Night with the Girls
See... what did I tell you about posting again soon! :P
This is from a while ago but it's the last Saturday night with my girlfriends before Christmas before everyone left to celebrate Christmas with their families, damn those Europeans for being so close.
It was Debra's birthday so we went out to celebrate.
We ate dinner at 'OKI Restaurant Japonais' where we ate a delicous meal, basically the rule is when you eat out in France it's usually cheaper or you get more for your money if you pick something from the set menu (meaning there's usually an entree, main and dessert) than buying each dish separately. Eating out can be quite expensive in France, it's much more than in Oz. So with my menu I had miso soup and a little salad for an entree then salmon filets cooked in a caramalised sauce for my main which absolutely amazing - the salmon melted in my mouth! After the restaurant we all headed out to a club called Wax in Bastille (Paris), which was ok, so far I haven't been impressed at all with the clubs with Paris, though hopefully I'll find one I like soon.

As we didn't have anywhere to stay in Paris we headed home to my house after our night of partying was over. We were three lucky girls to come back to the station to find our car covered in ice. Not only that, we couldn't even put the key in the door cause it had frozen too, luckily Thalia smokes so was carrying a lighter otherwise if we were able to find a guy (we live kinda in the country so there's not that many people about at this time) someone told me that's where boys come in handy as they can pee on the lock to unfreeze it. Anyway after we got the key in and then struggled to get the door open we had to scrap the ice off the windows with our trusty cards! At 7am we finally took off, and we thought we'd stop by the bakery to buy some well deserved croissants. We didn't just buy one each, no in fact we all had one plain crossiant, one pain au chocolat and one croissants aux amandes, all with a nice cup of tea while watching Sex and the City. It was SO GOOD to get out of the cold!

Oh and buy the way, the next day we all slept until about 5pm in the evening! Oops!
