LoNDoN ToWn!!

I arrived in London Thursday night for my little weekend away (just until Sunday arvo). Dave was there to greet me at Waterloo station, which was fantastic but a little sureal as we hadn't seen each other for two months and it really kicked in just how long we had spent apart.

I took the Eurostar (high speed train) which leaves right from Paris Gare du Nord and arrives at Waterloo International London both fairly central to the city centres. It takes under three hours and if you book your tickets early enough you can get them pretty cheap, which is really cool.

When we arrived at the apartment there was already seven of us staying at the two bedroom apartment: Dave, Chris, Andrea, Dave (Graham), Amelia (Meels) and me, this created a great party like atmosphere.

For my birthday everyone had pitched in and bought some champagne!! Yum!

After eating a delicous dinner the gang played some Scrabble... here's Chris in thinking mode...
